When I started my home search, I quickly learned that decent homes were being sold very quickly, sometimes within a week of their listing. Potential buyers would place a bid in the latter part of a week, bids were reviewed over the weekend, and home contracts were in place the following week. I also learned that, secondhand homes were being bid on, higher than asking price, while new homes, with money down, could be bought at the asking price. Again finding a home that I desired, was very difficult. Megan had explained many things to me. She explained the market to me. She explained the bidding process, and best way to go about placing a desirable bid. Megan was a very valuable resource through this process, and explain to me the market’s pros and cons of buying a used home versus buying something new, that hadn’t been built yet. Our home hunting journey began during the pandemic crazy times, during that time we made several offers but got outbid on all of them.
