When I started my home search, I quickly learned that decent homes were being sold very quickly, sometimes within a week of their listing. Potential buyers would place a bid in the latter part of a week, bids were reviewed over the weekend, and home contracts were in place the following week. I also learned that, secondhand homes were being bid on, higher than asking price, while new homes, with money down, could be bought at the asking price. Again finding a home that I desired, was very difficult. Megan had explained many things to me. She explained the market to me. She explained the bidding process, and best way to go about placing a desirable bid. Megan was a very valuable resource through this process, and explain to me the market’s pros and cons of buying a used home versus buying something new, that hadn’t been built yet.
